Jumping rope has it all. It works your legs, arms, abs, heart and most importantly your mind. It increases strength, agility, speed, timing and rhythm. Its high impact increases bone density, but isn't as hard on the joints as running. It is great for both weight loss and toning, also making a great cardio and strength training workout all in one.
When you first began using this workout, you can start with 30 to 60 seconds at a time (1 minute rounds).
